BRAIN DRAIN!
Summer brain drain refers to the loss of learning that occurs in children during the summer break from school. This loss can be significant in children who don’t engage in some kind of learning or educational activity during the summer. This is why Carebear Preschool provides a highly academic summer school curriculum that is intertwined with fun themes. Themes provide focus and direction to each session. Each session’s theme will incorporate Promethean board activities, language arts, mathematics, social studies and much more.
Camp Hours & Prices
Full Day 8-2:30 pm Extended hours 2:30pm – 5:30pm
Before school – 7:30am $3 a day, $15 a week
All 6 weeks $1305.00
Individual week $225.00 ($180.00 week of July 4th)
Extended hours $3 per half hour $6 per hour,
$18 a day, $90 a week.

Campers Need:
• a water bottle with name
• bathing suit (wear under clothes)
• beach towel with name
• lunch (full day students)
• morning snack will be provided
All lunches must be peanut free and strawberry free!
There is a one time summer registration fee of $45.00 due at time of registration!
Week 1 June 6th – 10th – Super Sports!
Children will participate in playing sports and games, both classic and crazy! From good old fashioned kick ball to games like monkey soccer and everything in between. Amazing athletes will be spending 30 minutes a day leading our students in athletic fun and games!

Week 2 June 13th – 17th – Animal Planet
Join us for a week of animal adventures. Carebear explorers will learn about mammals, birds and retiles. We will have a visit from a local veterinarian and the Reptile Guy will bring his cool creatures.
Week 3 June 20th – 24th – Splish Splash!
Welcome to the wettest week of summer; wear your swim suit to get soaked! Splash pad, rubber duck races and slip ‘n slide are just some of the fun activities planned for this wildly wet-filled week! Come cool off and stay refreshed on the hottest days of summer. Carebear will have a bouncy water slide this week and we will b visited by the Chandler Fire Department to learn about water safety.
Week 4 June 24th – July 1st – Carebear Cooks!
Come enjoy the creativity of cooking. This class gives children the opportunity to enjoy a variety of cooking experiences as they create delicious snacks. Students will use cooking tools, learn about etiquette and nutrition, and learn how to make a recipe & mix ingredients.
Week 5 July 5th – 8th – Party in the USA! (4 days only)
We are going to continue our 4th of July celebration with some good old fashioned summer fun, watermelon eating, flag making, sidewalk chalk, water games, smores & much more.
Week 6 July 11th – 15th – Christmas in July
It’s winter wonderland week! The snow will fall on July 15th ! Tons of snow will be delivered for some cool winter fun! We will have a week of “cool” activities, winter crafts, ice eating, caroling between classrooms and games!
