May After-School Newsletter

May is already in full swing and the days are starting to heat up!

April after-school was lots of fun being Under The Sea. We made a fun ocean with jellyfish, a school of fish and seaweed. We also made rainbow fish, seashell snails and made some yummy ocean-themed snacks.

In May, we will be doing a jungle theme. Look for thumbprint monkeys and giraffes, colorful lions, tiger masks, snakes and peacocks in our wild jungle forest!
In cooking class, we plan on making Rice Krispies Balls, Blueberry Graham Cobbler, Tropical Trail Mix, and Critter Crunch.

We had our splash pad kick-off Friday, May 7th, and we will continue to have splash pad on Fridays thru the end of May.
